Safeguarding the interests of students: A new student-centered financial health metric for higher education institutions

Institutions of higher education are experiencing a period of heightened financial risk.

This report discusses the key findings emerging from our research and analysis, and puts forward a new, student-centered metric to help higher education stakeholders, including presidents and boards, understand when their institutions are potentially facing financial difficulty and could be at risk of not meeting their educational obligations to students.
