Our report explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on fee-paying schools in England and identifies possible scenarios for the future of the sector.

For example, the COVID-19 pandemic could have a larger impact on fee-paying enrollments (3–7% decline peak to trough) than previous recessions (1–2% decline) and 170–180 schools could be at risk of closure, falling below a minimum viable capacity utilization (<40%).
