Rob is an executive director in the EY-Parthenon practice of Ernst & Young LLP, based in Boston, and is a member of its software practice group. Rob was originally with Bulger Partners, which joined EY in 2018. Rob provides deep-rooted technical knowledge on diligence for strategy engagements and leverages more than 30 years of software architecture and enterprise infrastructure experience to evaluate product development road maps, as well as R&D organization and software development life cycle processes for technology-enabled companies. Over the last year, Rob has evaluated 30 software and software-driven companies.
Rob is a lifelong entrepreneur, executive and technology visionary for large- and small-scale organizations, creating extraordinary value for investors and successfully leading five companies to sale or acquisition. He is passionate about transformational work and developing scalable solutions to help solve customers’ business problems, building companies and products from the ground up and also helping to steer the vision and road map for mature products to drive global growth through gap assessments and new market entry. He has worked extensively with start-ups and small and midsize business and enterprises in the software industry and has developed deep technical knowledge in SaaS business models, IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms, FinTech, big data and analytics.
Prior to Bulger Partners, Rob was senior vice president and head of technology and operations at Fidelity Investments, where he led Fidelity ActionsXchange product roadmaps, customer customization initiatives, product development, delivery, and operations. He has also served as vice president of architecture and the CTO of Insurance.com for Fidelity.
Rob holds a BS in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Brown University.
