Lorne is an executive director in the EY-Parthenon practice of Ernst & Young LLP, based in Boston, and is a member of its software practice group. Lorne was originally with Bulger Partners, which joined EY in 2018. He supports growth and value-orientated strategy and leverages more than 20 years of product and corporate strategy experience by evaluating and improving product management, software development and related operations for software and tech-enabled companies. Over the last year, Lorne has evaluated 16 software and software-driven companies.
Lorne has spent over two decades as an executive, entrepreneur, board member and advisor with high-tech companies. He has developed deep knowledge in optimizing people, processes and projects for software delivery. Lorne has operational and advisor experience working with companies across many areas of the technology sector, including enterprise software applications and infrastructure, collaboration software, web applications and middleware, health care IT, mobile applications, mobile management and UX. He was also a pioneer in offshore development and has 20 years of experience with development in India, Ukraine, Moscow and Turkey.
Prior to Bulger Partners, Lorne has held CEO and other executive-level positions for many software companies, including AccuRev, Progress Software, PeerDirect and ViewLogic. Most recently as president of AccuRev, Lorne helped the enterprise software start-up grow to an award-winning, multimillion dollar company.
Lorne was awarded two software patents. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
